  • Bishop Eric J. Freeman is a Pentecostal cleric and bishop in the Christian Covenant Fellowship of Ministries.  He’s also the pastor and founder of the Meeting Place of Columbia, South Carolina – a local parish with a global prayer network of more than 100,000 followers. Under the leadership of Bishop Freeman this powerful congregation recently acquired a five million dollar 23 acre 200,000 square foot ministry complex.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, and Cornell University’s Executive Leadership Program, Freeman has a passion for communal reconciliation through the melding of the universal language of prayer and social media. He believes prayer is central to every endeavor towards justice, peace, and personal healing.

Freeman is a consummate teacher, preacher, and communicator of the Gospel of Jesus Christ whose ministry gift has reached every state in the United States of America and more than twenty-seven countries on five continents.

He and his wife Coleen are the proud parents of one daughter, Tyné Angela – a student at Dartmouth College, and one son, Jordane Ericson – a college preparatory student at St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH.
