Bishop E.J. Freeman completed his undergraduate work at the University of Florida, earned a masters degree, with a concentration in Theological Ethics, from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary and completed postgraduate work at Cornell University in Executive Leadership (CEL).
Bishop E.J. Freeman, a man of prayer, stands as an apostolic influence and covering for numerous churches throughout the United States and the continent of Africa.
Furthermore, his proven innovative effectiveness in spreading the message of peace through electronic ministry and social media has made him a national and international voice for social advocacy. His social media footprint reaches more than five million people weekly.
Through conferences and the use of various digital platforms and facilitators, Bishop E.J. Freeman, with the undergirding support of The International Fellowship of Meeting Place Churches, reached the milestone of personally praying for more than 500,000 people in the year 2011.
He has been married for more than twenty years to the former Miss Coleen Angela McLennon, and they are the proud parents of one daughter, Tyné Angela – a student a Dartmouth College, and one son, Jordane Ericson – a college preparatory student at St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH.
He is a member of numerous civic organizations to include The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. And, he is the pastor and founder of The MEETING Place Church International in Columbia, SC, USA and the International Fellowship of MEETING Place Churches.
