Bishop Eric J. Freeman is a Christian cleric and episcopal leader in the Christian Covenant Fellowship of Ministries. He is the pastor and founder of the Meeting Place of Columbia, South Carolina – a local parish with a global prayer network of more than 100,000 followers. Under the leadership of Bishop Freeman, this powerful congregation oversees a 23-acre, 215,000 square foot ministry complex, to include a full-service banquet and conference center, a renal care facility, professional counseling services, an eight-screen first-run family movie cineplex (SpotlightCinemas.com/Capital8), community center and sanctuary.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary and Cornell University’s Executive Leadership Program, Freeman is a consummate teacher, preacher and communicator of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, whose ministry gift has reached every state in the United States of America and more than 27 countries on five continents.
He and his wife Coleen are the proud parents of two young adult children - Tyné Angela and Jordane Ericson.
