Happy December, TMPC family! This month's newsletter highlights our Advent sermon series and the final Community Spotlight 🎄
From Bishop Freeman & the First Family:
We pray you enjoy a blessed Advent season. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, we give thanks for the One who has been called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. We are deeply grateful for the many ways you have each served faithfully throughout 2025, reflecting Christ’s love within our church and community. May you experience His wisdom, strength, abiding love, and peace this Christmas season!
Community Spotlight:
The Willis Family
What has been your favorite moment you've experienced with the TMPC community?
Our favorite memory was attending the TMPC fellowship Power Lunch at the Columbia Museum of Art. We enjoyed the Word, a bologna sandwich, an apple, and a bottle of water. And it was also wonderful to see the Homeless Community’s love…what a fellowship! Souls were won through love, hope, and faith!
How has the concept of community factored into your story of navigating life's challenges and growing in faith?
Community has factored into our story of navigating life’s challenges & growing in faith through Bishop’s teachings. Together with a foundation of faith and obedience, God’s ways always prove to be the most productive, trustworthy, and comforting.
If you could invite someone outside of the church to experience our community, what would you hope they take away?
When inviting someone to partake in our services, we hope they identify our TMPC church community as having a spirit of peace, hope, and love. One where they will always feel welcomed.
And lastly, how can the TMPC community be lifting you in prayer?
Please agree with us in praying for world peace. Especially for the military families currently engaged in wartime activities.
