Support Ministries

Deacons

The TMPC Deacons Ministry is committed to serving God, supporting the pastoral leadership, and caring for the needs of The Meeting Place Church family with compassion, integrity, and a servant’s heart.

Following the biblical model of servant leadership, our Deacons assist in meeting the spiritual and practical needs of the congregation, supporting worship and church ordinances, caring for members during times of need, and helping strengthen the overall ministry of the church.

Through prayer, service, visitation, encouragement, and faithful support, our Deacons help ensure that members of our church family remain connected, cared for, and supported throughout every season of life.

The TMPC Greeters & Ushers Ministry serves as the welcoming heart of The Meeting Place Church, helping to create an atmosphere where everyone feels seen, valued, and at home from the moment they arrive.

More than simply opening doors and finding seats, this ministry is about hospitality, service, and creating a positive first impression of Christ and His Church. With a welcoming smile and a servant’s heart, our Greeters & Ushers help ensure that everyone who enters TMPC knows: there is a place for you here.

Public Safety

The TMPC Public Safety Ministry is committed to helping provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for everyone who enters the campus of The Meeting Place Church.

Serving both inside and outside our facilities, the Public Safety Ministry assists with campus security, parking and traffic flow, monitoring church facilities, responding to safety concerns, and helping members and guests navigate the campus safely during worship services, special events, and other ministry gatherings.

Working with attentiveness, professionalism, and a spirit of service, our team helps create an environment where worshippers can focus on fellowship, ministry, and worship with confidence and peace of mind.

The TMPC Culinary Arts Ministry serves with the belief that hospitality and fellowship around the table are meaningful expressions of ministry. Through food, service, and a welcoming spirit, our Culinary Arts team helps create memorable experiences for members, guests, and community partners who gather at The Meeting Place.

All culinary and food service operations are overseen by Catering and Beyond, owned and operated by TMPC Charter Members Chef Eddie and Dr. LaVeda Green. With a commitment to excellence, quality, and exceptional hospitality, Catering and Beyond provides culinary leadership and food service for TMPC ministry events, church celebrations, conferences, receptions, and other special gatherings.

Catering and Beyond also oversees culinary and food service operations for outside organizations and individuals hosting events at The Meeting Place Banquet & Conference Center, helping extend the spirit of TMPC hospitality to our surrounding community.

Whether serving our church family or welcoming guests from throughout the community, the TMPC Culinary Arts Ministry is committed to providing excellent food, exceptional service, and genuine hospitality—because there is always a place for you at the table.

Intercessory & Personal Prayer

The TMPC Intercessory and Personal Prayer Ministry is committed to cultivating a church where prayer is not simply something we do—it is foundational to who we are.

Our Prayer Ministry faithfully intercedes on behalf of The Meeting Place Church, our pastoral leadership, members, families, community, and the needs of people near and far. Through corporate intercession and personal prayer, this ministry provides spiritual support, encouragement, and a compassionate presence for those seeking God’s guidance, strength, healing, comfort, and peace.

Whether praying behind the scenes, gathering together in intercession, or personally standing in prayer with someone during a time of need, our Prayer Ministry believes in the power of bringing every circumstance before God.

At TMPC, we believe prayer changes things, strengthens people, and prepares the way for God to move. Whatever season you may be facing, you do not have to pray through it alone.
